Jay Hess, dean, Indiana University School of Medicine
Jay L. Hess, M.D., Ph.D., M.H.S.A.

Dr. Hess is the dean of the Indiana University School of Medicine and vice president for university clinical affairs at Indiana University. He currently chairs the Indiana University Clinical Affairs Cabinet and serves on the board of BioCrossroads. He also serves on the boards of the Regenstrief Institute and Indiana University Health, where he chairs the Research and Education Committee.

Anantha Shekhar, associate dean for translational research, Indiana University School of Medicine
Anantha Shekhar, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Shekhar is the associate vice president for research, executive associate dean for research affairs, associate dean for translational research at the Indiana University School of Medicine and associate vice president for university clinical affairs at Indiana University. He also directs the IUSM Neuroscience Clinical Research Center. In addition, he is the director of the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, a statewide collaboration that facilitates the translation of scientific discoveries from Indiana’s research universities into clinical trials and new treatments for patients.

Mervin C. Yoder Jr., associate dean for entrepreneurial research, Indiana University School of Medicine
Mervin C. Yoder Jr., M.D.

Dr. Yoder is the associate dean for entrepreneurial research at the Indiana University School of Medicine. In this role, he leads IUSM’s technology transfer and entrepreneurial development initiatives. He also directs the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research and serves as the Richard and Pauline Klingler Professor in the IUSM Department of Pediatrics.

Jaipal Singh, director, Industry Collaboration Portal
Jaipal Singh, Ph.D.

Dr. Singh is the director of the Industry Collaboration Portal. He is also a visiting professor of cellular and integrative physiology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Prior to joining IUSM, he was the chief scientific officer and vice president of research at St. Joseph’s Translational Research Institute and Emory Healthcare system. He is also an adjunct professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has more than 25 years of pharmaceutical industry research and development experience.

Michael Sturek, Professor and Chair of Cellular and Integrative Physiology
Michael Sturek, Ph.D.

Dr. Sturek is the professor and department chair of Cellular & Integrative Physiology at Indiana University School of Medicine. He also serves as a professor of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University.

Mohan Tatikonda_kelley school
Mohan V. Tatikonda, Ph.D., MBA

Dr. Tatikonda is professor of Operations Management at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He has more than 20 years of research, teaching and consulting experience in diverse life sciences and health care industry sectors in the areas of entrepreneurship & innovation, multi-organization partnerships, emerging healthcare revenue & delivery models, and enterprise level lean six sigma and related learning organization programs.
